:waggle: Ooooh! its not DAK kit mate, its SS specific tropical kit I made the same assumptions it was the same as the luftwaffe tropical kit until I was put right by the guys at the W&P :good: M43 SS sahariana Tunics to be exact, copied from the Italians except the german foolishly used heavy cotton duck material which is far from ideal for hot climates :slap:

Ò€œI wanted to come to the Volga at a specific location at a specific city. By chance it carries the name of Stalin himself. So donÒ€ℒt think I marched there for this reason Γ’β‚¬β€œ it could carry another name Γ’β‚¬β€œ but because there is a very important goal... this goal I wanted to take Γ’β‚¬β€œ and you know Γ’β‚¬β€œ we are very modest, we have it already."
Adolf Hitler, November 1942

"Comrades, Red Army men, commanders and political workers, men and women guerrillas! It is on your perseverance, staunchness, fighting skill and readiness to discharge your duty to the country that the defeat of the German-fascist army and the liberation of the Soviet land from the Hitlerite invaders depend! We can and must clear the Soviet land of Hitlerite vermin."
Joseph Stalin, November 1942

They were issued luftwaffe tropical tunics to begin with, and when the sahariana tunic was in sort supply.

I stand corrected! :slap: So would lufty tropical trousers and a dot44 tunic be authentic for 16th SS then Dave?

Only at the xmass fancy dress party or if you've been asked at the last min to drive in a late war battle and given a pea dot tunic to but on,as its only your tunic that can be seen.We all have SS tropical trousers there more authentic than lufty ones and we do 1943 so dot44 may look a bit silly.
